'Tis a gift to be simple. Yet, somehow things are never simple in the Whitfield household. We have made the decision to adopt a child (or two!) from Ethiopia. Please check our blog from time to time for the latest in our adoption journey. Your prayers and support are always welcome!

Well, we’ve been working on our application for almost a month. This could be a long process.
We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has agreed to be a reference for us!
More to come…

Fr. Josh and Alli,
I am so happy to hear about your impending adoption. I will keep you in my daily prayers that God sends you the child or children who will be a blessing to you and others and that all goes well throughout the whole process. I have friends and family who have adopted children from Mexico, China, Russia, Yugoslavia and Romania. From what I hear it is a lengthy and expensive process but oh so worth it. It is a win win for both the adoptive parents and the children adopted. If you need any advice I can put you in touch with them. Do you all want me to put your prayer request on the daughters prayer list? I think you both are going to be awesome parents. Congratulations early.
